The Renault Magnum is the first advanced cab truck that offers a flat floor, freeing up space and making it easier to move around the cabin. The result of a long study, the Magnum comes from the prototype VE10 designed in 1985 by Marcello Gandini designer Lamborghini Miura and Countach to retain only this one. The first version was released in 1990 but our model is the result of the restyling of 2001. Among the biggest changes we see the appearance of new headlights, a new grille and the lower part of the tractor painted in body paint. In terms of design, the Renault Magnum marked a real turning point in the design of road tractors in the 2000’s.

Citroën Xsara Kit Car Catalunya

After having stopped its Rallye-Raid program, Citroën decided to return to rallying. To mark this historic turn, a "Kit Car" was developed on the basis of the Xsara. The category (equivalent to the current R5s) represented the second division but was a great springboard for reaching the WRC. In addition, the Kitcars had excellent performances and were two-wheel drive capable of winning in every rally. After a season of French rally championships in 1998 at the wheel of this Xsara Kit Car, Philippe Bugalski achieved the feat of winning a round of the world rally championship… ahead of the WRC! It was in Catalonia, April 21, 1999. "Bug" would achieve the same feat a few months later, in Corsica. Two magnificent victories that made people cringe in the parc fermé. And yet, this was only the beginning of Citroën's glorious WRC journey!

Ferrari 308 GTB Gr.4

When we think Ferrari we think Formula 1. Yet there were also some Ferraris built for rallying! A terrain rather atypical for this kind of car but which did not scare the engineers of the Italian brand. Launched in 1978, the 308 GTB Group 4 had a difficult start with a lot of mechanical scrapes reflecting a real lack of reliability. Then, in 1981 and 1982, the 308 GTB Group 4 woke up and almost missed a victory in the world rally championship at the Tour de Corse ‘82 after becoming vice-champion of the European rally in 1981. With its yellow and black livery, Mauro Pregliasco gave a nice double to Ferrari (the only one in his rally history) in the Italian Rally 4 Regioni race in 1981, finishing 5 seconds behind Jean-Claude Andruet.
